Practice

Three movements. Four areas. One thread.

I work at the intersection of film sound, music production, and creative tooling. My practice moves through cinema — sound direction, design, and mixing for film and television; music — production, mix, and master for independent Brazilian artists and bands; and code — Max4Live devices, generative audiovisual systems, and live instruments.

Across all three, the thread is the same: I build instruments — acoustic, digital, conceptual — to make work that is specific, situated, and accountable to a place. Recent work includes O Compositor, winner of Best Portuguese Horror Short at MOTELX 2025; the EP Rinoceronte for Luzo Cairo; RC Surface (PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0) and RC Setlist, Ableton Live tools built for real performance contexts.

The path has been geographic as much as technical. I spent six years in the Palmas music scene as a composer, guitarist, and producer, then worked between Brazil and Lisbon while completing a BA in Sound at Universidade Lusófona. I returned to Palmas in 2025 carrying the tools and habits of both scenes.

The work connects those scenes through Lusófona and REANIMA for audiovisual practice, AMMP for Portuguese television, Artpalco for recent series work, the Madison Museum collection for Kakofoni Orquestra, and the Aldir Blanc / PAAR grant behind Rinoceronte. None is a permanent home; they are passages through one practice.

01 Film Audio

Sound direction, production recording, design, editing, and mix for short film, television, animation, and documentary. The work moves from the first sonic idea through final delivery.

02 Music Production

Production, recording, mix, and master for independent artists, shaped by the Palmas and Tocantins scene — small rooms, recurring collaborators, and records built from local continuity.

03 Creative Coding

Max4Live devices and generative audiovisual systems organized around real-time signal flow. The tools feed the art, the art feeds the tools, and both share patches, modules, and live risk.

04 Live & Experimental

Festival curation, live sound, livecoding, and installations rooted in collective production. A piece either survives the room or it does not; the stage keeps the studio work honest.

Personal, open-source, and source-available projects spanning Max4Live devices, generative audiovisual systems, and live instruments. Most of what's here runs in real time on a stage or in a studio somewhere.

  • ableton-rc-surface

Turn any phone browser into a wireless MIDI + multi-sensor controller for Ableton Live. 12 performance pads, two physics XY pads, knobs & faders, sensor mappings (motion, orientation, audio, vision), in-browser mapping editor. No phone install. Source-available under the PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license, built on the Ableton Extensions SDK.

  • rc-setlist

Source-available Ableton Live extension that turns Arrangement locators into an operator setlist with synchronized lyrics, tempo and click feedback, and guarded transport controls. Local-first via WebSocket on port 4444. No account, no cloud, no telemetry.

  • ableton-mcp-server

Open Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Ableton Live 12. 75 tools in v0.5.3 over TCP and WebSockets for AI agents (Claude, Antigravity, Gemini, Codex) and audio developers to query parameters, drive transport, automate clips, analyze mix audio in non-realtime, and run grouped batch commands.

  • Fxhash_Template_HYDRA_with_P5

FXHASH boilerplate (2022) for combining Hydra.js + p5.js in one fxhash-compatible sketch. Personal — paused.
