Unconscious Vision

A 2024 horror short from Universidade Lusófona. Sound Designer and Sound Mixer on the piece — full sound design from scratch through to final mix, working against picture.

Horror is a particular discipline for sound: the work lives in what you almost-hear and what you almost-see. Ambience, room tone, the small tells before a hit, the long tail of a sound that doesn’t quite resolve. The credit here covered both the design work and the final mix. The companion piece in the same period is Bed Time — same genre, same year, but the credit there was original score and mix rather than sound design.
