Em Agosto Chove
A band from Palmas, 2015–2021 — my band, where I was composer, guitarist, and producer. The catalogue is compact on purpose: one album, a series of standalone singles, and a Bem Ali Sessions live cut. Records came out when each was ready rather than on a planned schedule — that’s why the run only counts seven years for one album and a small handful of singles.
The sound is rooted in the cerrado: slow, dense, mostly acoustic, with long instrumental passages. The album Ritus Movedissus (Aug 2021) is the anchor record, and the four standalone singles (Dimetil, Canto de Bata, Que Tudo Destrói, Australopteras – Live) fill in the edges. Most of the rest of the archive — demos, live recordings, the rehearsal cuts that never got a release — still lives in local files rather than streaming.
